You don’t ever have to worry about setting your watch. All you have to do is sync it with your smartphone and you will have the most accurate time. Smartphones update their clocks from the atomic clock. The atomic clock is the standardized clock for all clocks to be synced to all over the world. You can’t get a more accurate time measurement- period.
Members of the military and law enforcement were sick and tired of breaking their straps off. The problem with most watch straps is they’re attached to the case with spring bars. All it takes is a decent tug and the spring bar is going to snap. The watch will fall off, and that’s that.
The Recon 5950 does NOT use wimpy spring bars. We use screw bars which are impossible to pop off. The strap is actually screwed to a shaft that goes through the watch head itself. This is the ultimate military method. You could wrap this watch around a pipe and hang from it and it would hold you.
